The self-titled album Leigh Barker & The New Sheiks won the 2011 Bell Award for Best Traditional Jazz Album, ... so starting from the 12th of October, we are going to be touring for about a month through Victoria, NSW and Tassie.

Heather Stewart sings Billie Holiday

Heather Stewart performs a large selection of Standards with beautiful vocals and fiddle playing.  Heather performs at various festivals, concerts and functions nationally and in Europe.  She performs monthly at Melbourne's Paris Cat Jazz Club with some of Australia's finest Jazz musicians.  

Influences include Billie Holiday, Bessie Smith, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole, Ella, Frank Sinatra, Baylor Brothers, Virus, Julie O'Hara and many more.
